Youngsters age 4-12 will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of tennis for free from a professional at Zephyr Cove Tennis Club. Dave Nostrant\, USPTA certified instructor\, will lead the juniors with the assistance of players from the club. The clinic is open to students throughout the Lake Tahoe Basin as well as the Carson Valley. \nA limited number of rackets will be available for those who need one. Come dressed to play – which means athletic wear and non-marking shoes. Be sure to bring water and wear sunscreen. Arrive 15 minutes before the start time. \n>>>Registration is required!<<<

SUMMARY:Breakfast at Wimbledon
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our annual Breakfast @ Wimbledon event for adult players of all abilities. No need to look for a partner because the draw will be set to equalize the teams. Our annual event starts with breakfast at 8am\, the Calcutta at 9 am\, and play starting thereafter. All players must arrive by 8:30am and be prepared to play until 3 pm for the finals.\n\nThe number of entrants is limited. Sign up in the Pro Shop or online at http://www.zctennis.com/breakfast-wimbledon-registration/ by noon on Wednesday before the event.\n\nWear all white in honor of the real tournament. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the top three teams plus the consolation winner. Bring a beverage of choice that does not come in a glass container. The fee is $20 for club members\, $30 for non-members (which includes breakfast and multiple rounds of tennis)\, and $10 for spectators (meal only).

SUMMARY:Tahoe Tennis Classic
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Hersh Herschman Memorial Tahoe Classic tennis tournament at Zephyr Cove Tennis Club. While this is an all-doubles tournament\, the various events make it so all levels can compete. \nMore than 200 players from ten states are expected to descend about the region. \n“The popularity of the Classic continues to grow each year\, a testament to the caliber of play and fun atmosphere\,” Bob Beutenmiller\, tournament director\, said. \nOne thing that makes this tournament different from so many others is that every player is guaranteed two matches. The entry fee also includes a pizza party on Friday night\, a T-shirt\, and cap or visor. \nThe tournament is the main fundraiser for the Zephyr Cove Tennis Club Foundation. In addition\, there is a fundraiser during the Classic with a silent auction to help raise funds that are used for court upkeep and programs.
