Classic Fundraiser Procedures

The Zephyr Cove Tennis Club Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is sponsoring a silent auction and raffle during the Tahoe Tennis Classic. 100% proceeds from the fundraiser will support the Zephyr Cove Tennis Club Foundation’s programs and facilities.

The Classic Fundraiser will take place in the lobby of the Zephyr Cove library meeting room, located adjacent to the Zephyr Cove Tennis Club, from 12 noon – 7 pm on Friday, July 22,  and from 10 am – 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 23.

Raffle procedures:

Each participant in the Tahoe Tennis Classic will receive two complimentary raffle tickets, available in the library lobby. Remember to save your stub to redeem your prize!

Anyone attending the Classic may participate in the raffle. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased in the library lobby at Zephyr Cove Tennis Club during the Classic:

5 tickets for $10

10 tickets for $20

25 tickets for $40

80 tickets for $100

The raffle prizes will be displayed in the library meeting room on Friday, July 22 from 12 noon until 7:00 pm and Saturday, July 23 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. Participants may place their raffle tickets in a raffle ticket tennis ball can for a chance to win the corresponding raffle prize. Participants may place one or more raffle tickets in a can, with more tickets increasing the odds of winning. Winning raffle tickets will be drawn for each raffle prize at 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 23 in the library lobby. A list of winning ticket numbers will be posted at the library, the Pro shop and on the website. You do not need to be present at the drawing to win a Raffle prize. You must bring your raffle ticket stub to the library lobby to collect your prize no later than 3:00pm, Sunday, July 24.

Silent Auction procedures:

Anyone attending or participating in the Classic may bid on silent auction items. The silent auction items will be displayed in the library lobby on Friday, July 22 from 12 noon until 7:00 pm and Saturday, July 23 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. Bidders may place their bid on the lot’s corresponding bid sheet following the rules for each lot’s minimum and subsequent bidding. Some lots will have a “Buy it Now” option for a predetermined price. Agreeing to the “Buy it Now” option will end the competitive bidding, and the winner may pay for the lot immediately and claim their prize. Participants in the bidding process may register their contact information at the auction desk in the library lobby to be notified by text if they have won. The silent auction will be closed at 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 23. A list of silent auction winners will be posted at the Library, the Pro shop and the barbecue area. Payment for lots won must be made in full no later than 3:00pm, Sunday, July 24, by cash, check, PayPal, or credit card. Any item left unclaimed without prior arrangements will be sold to the next highest bidder. You do not need to be present to win a silent auction item!
