Dave on “Why I Teach Tennis”
“I never met a player that did not want to improve and win more. That’s what motivated me. I was taught by Vic Braden and Steve Smith in the 2 year Tennis Technology Program in Tyler, Texas. Under their training I improved as a player after college, and developed a passion for teaching tennis. People learn with different styles and I learned to adjust how I teach, to help players at all levels and to show them how to enjoy the process. I love teaching, learning new ways to teach and to bring the best out of people. I want each person to reach their potential, love this game and pass that on to someone else.”
“ZCTC is one of the unique tennis environments in the country. The people here love tennis, people and want to grow the game. I want to contribute to that process and bring more people of all ages to the game, offering programs and play morning, afternoon and evenings at this beautiful facility.”
